Lead Instructors
Joe Wheaton is an Associate Professor at Utah State University and a fluvial geomorphologist with over a decade of experience in river restoration. Joe developed the original GCD software used in the course.
Philip Bailey is the Principle of North Arrow Research and the lead developer
on the current version of the GCD software used in the course. Philip has a Ph.D. in Geographical Information Systems and a B.Sc. in Topographic Science and Geography and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Watershed Sciences Department at Utah State Univesity.
